We often lose sight of the deep, soulful and creative parts of our inner being. Even though we are humans who have jobs and to-do lists - we still have hearts that need fulfillment. As 2018 came to a close I thought to myself- what other than work ventures have I done for myself lately? What is a hobby of mine that is just mine?
That is when creativity and self-exploration came to mind as a New Years Resolution. When our daily life activities seem daunting and nothing seems to be filling your cup it is the hobbies that feed your soul that will provide. While previously running through health consults for Healthwise Queensland, one of the questions was 'what do you do to manage your emotional wellbeing?'.
Opening up time isn't difficult when it's something that energizes you to be you! Trying new things and getting curious about interests that are different from our everyday lives is what keeps our brains young and our hearts full. Lately I have been gardening, painting and learning new things to cook... What do you do for your hearts content?
